Solubiliser
Solubilisers are ingredients that perform the same function as emulsifiers in liquid products. They keep an oil in water preparation smooth and prevent it separating. We use a plant derived solubiliser, Polysorbate 20, in our Children's Hair De-tangler spray to keep the natural moisturisers and conditioners distributed through the bottle, so every spray works perfectly.
Sodium Chloride
More commonly known as table salt. Used to safely modify viscosity in our Children's Shampoo.
Stabiliser
We use a stabiliser called Carbopol (label name AcrylatesC10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer) to help create a smooth consistency in our Shampoo. An extensively tested, safe and non toxic ingredient approved for use in children's products, it is included at less than 1%.
Soybean Glycerides
Soybean (Glycine soja) oil is rich in essential fatty acids, lecithin, genistein (an isoflavone), and antioxidants that help to protect skin cells from pollutants and toxins. The linoleic rich oil helps to strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier, decrease water loss and aids skin hydration. Vitamin E provides anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and environmental protection for the skin. Our moisturiser cream contains Soybean Glycerides, a mixture of mono, di- and triglycerides obtained from soybean oil that is safe and gentle for sensitive skin.
